I moved to austin july 4th from PA. Driving down I-35 and knowing nothing of Austin, this looked like an okay place to start. The demo room was decent looking. Well the first night we moved in we noticed a couple of roaches. I reported this and they have had a guy come in and spray every week since i moved in on the 9th of July. It seems like they go away for a few days and come right back no later than 2days after the apartment has been sprayed. While speaking with management i heard her ask to have one of the buildings sprayed completely, and i told her that mine needed that also. They usually fix problems reasonably quick. But it seems like slowly everything is falling apart piece by piece. The carpet is crap the fixtures are crap, the facilities are junk. I have to go elsewhere to do my laundry because they take forever to fill up. Dryers are extremely nasty. I wouldn't even mind every so much, except that the bugs are horrible.
Everything about these apartments is cheap.
I've read the police reports online and it makes me feel a little uneasy living there. I remove everything from my vehicle everynight. I'm basically extremely unhappy with Silver Vale Crossing and would not suggest anyone move in.

I only wish i knew about apartmentratings.com before i moved.
