Unfortunately I've been at silver vale for way to freaking long. When I first moved to Austin, my friend lived there. When he got ready to move I needed a place and not knowing Austin very well I stayed. In the beginning it was fine, well kept but now, it's crappy, they take forever to fix anything, trash is over flowing what seems like all the time. The illegal immigrant population makes up half the available rented apartments and they take up ALL the freaking parking spaces. I'm glad they atleast fenced in the complex and keep that fixed to keep out the prostitutes from coming in through the back by the local neighborhood. Cars are always getting broke into or backed into by drunk drivers. The cops are out atleast 3-4 times a week for something. Unfortunately I can't move because I don't make enough money and I'd say that within the last 6yrs, each year it gets progressively worse after they tried to make it better. The roach problem is so bad, that it doesn't matter how many times they send out pest control or you do your own pest control, they still come back in masse. The buildings themselves are infested with roaches, they spray one apartment and that's only on request instead of doing the whole building, it's to much trouble. I'm really hoping to move and they can shove thier 60 day notice policy up where the sun don't shine. Oh and rent ain't that cheap here anymore, you can find better rent elsewhere.

poorrenter21 I feel u, have been there since 2007 have never been late on rent and yes it is about 87 percent illegals. There has been countless auto breakins myself have had 5. When I Moved in the APT the only thing that was clean was the carpet the place is no biger than 500 sq ft,so please tell me why are there 5 people living in a apt. It was small for me and a friend that stayed with me for 6 days out of the month.The office staff if u can call it a staff always changes so every time u pay rent there is new staff so there is no familar faces. They refuse to give me my deposit back because they lost my 60 day vacate notice and said that they never got it. So unless your a MEXICAN don't move there they will treat U like an ILLEGAL and take your money
