i have to say that i'm a bit baffled by the experience of the various reviewers on the site. we had friends that lived here before we moved in and thus did not lean heavily on the reviews. we have been really happy with the experience so far (two months). we previously lived at the alexan/1007 s congress. the staff is far nicer here and actually care about the experience of their tenants. we have had no problems with noise and any mechanical issues are fixed immediately. all of this being said, don't expect a gables apartment b/c you're not paying for one.
