I lived at this place right after they remodeled it. The management is HORRIBLE to say the very least. No one knows what?s going on there. The first of my problems was that it was June and my AC broke. It took them 3 days to come fix the darn thing. I was sweating in my own apt.! My roof leaked 3 times in a period of my 7 month stay and each time they said that they didn?t have any other tenants who had leaky roofs so..... SO FIX THE DAMN THING! They never did. I had signed a year lease, but after 7 months I told them that I wanted out and I didn?t want my lease to be broken. I told them they could rent my place for more money, and they graciously let me out of the lease. Thank God! I live in a very nice complex now in NW Austin and I consider a dishwasher, W/D and garage LUXURIES after leaving 6th Street West, b/c you won?t find any of these in your apartment. I wouldn?t recommend this place. Other than having a quaint hideaway, most of the time you?re wondering how "safe" it really is. It?s nice if you?re apt. faces the west b/c when/if it rains you?ll get some good views of a storm coming in, but make sure your ceiling isn't leaking!!! HA!
