Being minutes from downtown the location is the best and the price is decent. But I agree with some of the previous postings about the management and the quality or should I say lack of it with the owner and his staff.

I moved in because looking to save up some money for a house and at first everything was good. I had to call several times about the persistent rodent/rats fecal matter and roach problems. After waiting 2 weeks the pest control finally came and verified the rat problem and proceeded to lay traps to resolve the problem. The rats didnt even touch the traps proceeded to chew through my electronics wires and my cereal boxes. I spoke to my neighbor and she informed me that the rat issue had been going on for quite some time now but that it was never fully resolved.

The summer came and my window AC unit stopped working and I asked if maintenance could come by and I waited around and they never came. Management said that the AC needed a part and that I would have to wait a couple of days in the heat. 2 Weeks went by in July and the same issue and again the same problem and again waiting in the TEXAS heat! Then came August and the old AC just died and I went in and pleaded for a new one. The owner responded in patronizing and disrespectful way informing me that I must wait to see if I really needed a new AC. After all the humid and disgusting nights in my own sweat he told to just wait a couple more days. Then he drove off in his Mercedes and leaving me slightly upset. You would think that if hes able to parade himself in his Mercedes that he would have some funds for new window AC units, but apparently the needs of his tenants are not a high priority.

To further illustrate my dissatisfaction of this so called business please always get a reciept for proof of rental payment. On more than one ocassion I handed my rent payment to management and then I was later informed that they had misplaced it or that they had never received it. I came back and personally returned and handed the funds over and noticed that the manager had a strong stench of alcohol emanating from his mouth. I'm both disgusted and frustrated that such incompetence seems to incompass this management office.

The owner has now repainted the property and spending what looks like thousands and thousands of dollards to improve the exterior of the complex but yet his unwilling to draw attention to the rat problem, the roach problem, the fractured foundation, the lack of security, crappy parkings spots and his drunken staff.

Painting a piece of crap its still a piece of crap no matter what color you paint it

I found this review very informative. I gave considerable thought to moving to this area back in the summer. Something always seemed a bit shady about this place; now my suspicions have been confirmed. I'm glad I decided to rent elsewhere. I would advise you to do the same.
