Crime spree continues, management won't do anything

We are now up to 8 cars broken into in the past 5 weeks, and those are just the neighbors I know. No telling how many others have been victims of this "crime spree". So far neither APD nor the management has done anything at all to try to stop it. Note I didn't say stop it, I said TRY to stop it. In most instances the police refuse to even take finger prints. Several people have requested management either install cameras, or have the "courtesy officer" actually patrol at night. Nothing.
Important to note on the matter is that everyone in the office was recently replaced when the ownership changed. The old staff may not have gotten things done all the time, but they did at least try. Catching the new manager in the office is a bit of a chore, I think she only works 1 or 2 half days a week, the rest of the time we have "temps" manning the desk. And if you thought an uncaring manager was of little help, try talking to someone who's only working the site for a day.
As far as the apartments themselves, they are smaller than most in the area, yet are priced higher. The grounds are well kept by an outside company. I'm not aware of any apartment break ins, just cars and garages. So if you don't drive, you might be ok here. (for now)
