I had a co-worker ask me if I enjoyed my apartments because she was looking for a new place. I told her SOCO was the best place I have ever lived (There are some horrible complexes in Austin) The Next day she told me that on this website, people were giving it negative reviews. So I had to chime in. Let me just say that since the New Management has come on, things have gotten a lot better and cleaner. I've never had a problem with the management, and they are really nice. On thanksgiving The head manager knew me and my boyfriend had to work, so she made us dinner plates from her own food and wrapped them and brought them to us. And for Christmas they offered to wrap residents presents for free! If that's not pampering I don't know what is. Some people whine about rent being high, but they treat you great here, and actually remember your name. The Maintenance man is nice, and doesn't take forever to do something. The Person on this website who said "STAY AWAY!!! just seems like a rude and mean person. Using a term like "crack people"' They sound like a young teenager spouting mean names. Trust me, this place is great, don't bother listening to vindictive individuals. Your best bet is to come down and look around the complex and meet the management for yourself.
