We considered many of the Gables as well as other apartment complexes etc when we moved to Austin, but ended up deciding to live at Somerset and absolutely made the right choice. The staff are GREAT, the townhomes are just wonderful, the location perfect (hill country starts literally behing the complex, and one is a five minute walk from a park, a track, tennis courts, HEB groceries, blockbuster). Especially for someone commuting to UT, the shuttle picks up every five minutes from around the block. The lap pool was wonderful to swim in, the workout room had all the machines you'd need. Further, any problems we had were dealt with swiftly and effeciently. We would stay, but we're leaving town.

We just moved out and sad to leave. We definitely enjoyed our time at Somerset...that was our home. The management is wonderful as issues were dealt with very swiftly. My wife and I would recommend this to anyone, a great place to live and we loved the ammenities, they just put in a new sauna and a steamroom/shower room next to the fitness room which is nice as well with up to date equipment and three new flat screens.
