I was told at move in that 60 days notice is required before leaving. I asked if I would be notified at 60 days and was told yes, I would be. Being that 99.9% of all apartments keep a standard 30 day notice it slipped my mind. When I called to give my notice I was told that I hadn't given 60 days and was required to stay even though no one notified me as they had said they would. Also, rent is late after the second rather than the fourth and after the second, it must be paid with a cashiers check. I never pay late but sometimes I may not be home for a week at a time and if it came down to it, I would be angry about being late and having to go to a bank for paying my rent on the third.
