Pathetic Management

I can't help but agree whole-heartedly with the previous review. Southcliff has to be one of the most poorly maintained, crime-ridden apartment complexes in the entire city.
There is constant litter everywhere (even in the parking lot) with outside trash cans filled to overflowing that do not get dumped until the grounds crew comes by Monday morning. I've had to take it upon myself many times to empty the various trashcans around the complex as well as pick up dozens of empty beer cans and bottles left out in the open or in the parking lot.
The maintenance (or rather complete lack of) is also a major issue. There is a 24 hour maintenance emergency line, but it's more of a hassle than anything else. Calls and face to face requests to replace a FRONT DOOR went unheeded for months. There have been numerous times where there was no hot water at all. I was given some of the worse excuses such as to leave the water running for about 10 to 30 minutes to warm it up. Someone getting ready to go to work has neither the time nor the patience to wait 30 minutes and see if the water gets any warmer. Do they intend to also pay my water bill as well'
Safety, security and the overall noise level is also a huge problem. There doesn't a month go by that I don't find the police out at the apartments at all hours of the day or night. There is at least 1 domestic disturbance as well and I have personally called the police on numerous occasions. Management must not take too much of a concern about the crime level occuring at their apartment complex, otherwise these troublesome tenants would be evicted.
At least once a week there is the noise of someone's car stereo booming out an intolerable base level that can be heard everywhere on the complex. You would figure that a manager that cared about this would give these tenants a notice about their noise level.
Speaking of noise levels, there are children running around (usually only wearing a diaper; no shoes or other clothing of any kind) yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs again at all hours of the day or night.
About the only thing that management seem to do is post a little flyer on every door stating to please not make noise, don't hang around in the pool area after it closes and don't drop your litter everywhere. Fine, but unless they are going to evict the tenants that continue to do this, it amounts to nothing.
