I decided to move into this apartment by looking at the property info on the net. More importantly elementary school district was the reason behind this decision. However, when I got an opportunity to visit the property to sign the lease (had already paid the deposit), I was shocked to see such a poorly maintained apartment. When I asked how old the carpet and how often do they change carpet in apartments, the leasing agent suggested that they have several residents who are living in their apartments for last 17 years!!! without ever changing the carpet. I was shocked and immediately decided against the apartment community which looks terrible from every angle. More over the leasing agent showed me the public library next door as if it is maintained and managed by this apartment itself. They could possibly claim anything to get a resident hooked up to their community. Never ever think of this apartment

I've lived here for 4 months. The library is literally in front of the rental office. But its seperated by marsh and curbs. i cannot see how they actually showed you the library next door without four wheeling in the golf cart. otherwise, Im sure they pointed at the fact that the library is there. Whooptie doo. I'm sorry, but if I found out people have lived there for years, that tells me something. Who cares if they redid there carpets. Obviously they can keep people here for a reason. But jsut for the record, I'm not management and do agree with the incompetence up at the office. It is a "hurry and lease" then leave us alone attitude. The water bill is a ripoff every month. (40-50 dollars) then add an average AC bill of 200 plus. (Temp is at 80 degree in apt.) It is a little overpriced for what you pay. Other bad news is, I'm sorry to say, but we just received letter waning of a sex incident with a child. Someone underage was sexually assaulted. There was a stabbing last week. (Domestic violence.) It's not perfect, thats for sure, but you can do a lot worse. Ia lso moved here for the good school. Round rock ISD!
