Location's GREAT...but that's about where it ends

I currently live here. I love the location but the property is shameful and the management, well, I'm not entirely sure they're loved by their mothers.

In the time that I've lived here I've had them over to repair the tile floor three times. Mind you it was NEWLY INSTALLED when I moved in. The tiles popped loose the first time I walked on them (after leaving the area untouched overnight, as they asked). I had them back; same thing. The third time I told them I know people who could fix it, they sent their people instead. I just live with it now. I prefer not to have them over when I'm not home, especially when it's apparent they aren't going to fix it correctly, anyway.

You can hear your neighbors talking at normal volumes and doing--needless to say--lots of other things. As with many other properties do now, they send you a 'water bill' which you pay with your rent. It's cleverly designed to look like an official utility bill with some basis for the charges. Mine currently runs right at $40. Up from about $20 a few years ago. Interesting that I'm a single guy who lives alone yet my 'water bill' is higher than multiple friends of mine who live in a house and have families. Sort of insulting. Why don't they just raise the rent instead of playing silly games'
