The thing that makes Sterling Springs bad is the trailor park atomosphere. The area has severely deteriorated in the two years I have lived there. If they cared more it could be a nice place to live.

When I first moved in, residents were not allowed to just leave bags of trash sitting outside their front doors.
Haha...now some losers have piles of trashbags that stay there for a week or two before they carry them to the dumpster.

Drunken loud neighbors seem to be the norm now. I also hear domestic disputes in the parking lot. The windows are thin...and people play loud music and scream late into the night.

In April some sort of fight occurred and I discovered BLOOD on my 3rd floor stairs...going all the way down to the second floor where the spots were bigger...and then all the way down those stairs where a small puddle of blood was at the door to the first floor apartment. O.o The blood spots then meandered down the stairs into the parking lot. Closer inspection also revealed bloody smears on the outside wall of the second floor balconey.
OK...wtf'
I don't even want to know what went on...but here is the kicker.
A month and a half later...the BLOOD smears are still there. I have complained and asked that they powerwash them off. But no one has done it.
Seems to me that they would prefer their apartments to look safe...but apparently not.

The outside lights are almost always burned out...and they take a long time to get replaced even if you complain about it.

As other people have mentioned...cars get broken into frequently. I luckily have an old POS car so it has been left alone.

In short it no longer feels like a safe place to live. I don't recommend it.
The staff seems really nice...but they don't get much done. Maybe it is just poorly managed.
I am moving as soon as my lease is up.

I agree with the previous review. I moved in to the apartments in Nov. of 05' and have had one problem after another. The first problem: noisy neighbor, who never recieved an eviction letter(only one warning). The funny part in the whole problem is that a couple of us complained and complained, all at the same time, yet nothing was done. Second problem: Repair. Let's just say forget it. The unit can have a leak and nothing will be done. This is why as of today, I'm about to serve the Apartment complex a second notice of complaints. If the apartment does not fix the problem then i will be moving out. Warning!!!!!!!! Warning!!!!!!!!! Please do not consider Sterling apartment. The units are not livable and as soon as possible, I'm moving out.
