The New Management is absolutely horrible.
They are rude, abrupt, and generally unwilling to solve issues. This isn't a gated community so I thought I knew what to expect, but I've seen a few questionable people crossing through the breaks in the shabby fencing. Also, don't be too surprised if you see the occasional police car cruising through the complex looking for someone.

There was a tear in the roofing of my apartment which caused water to leak down the walls in one of the rooms so I filed the appropriate forms but guess what, that was 3 months ago and it still hasn't been fixed. Mold has gotten out of control in that room so I had to go as far as contacting the Austin Tenants Council to file an official complaint because of the possible health code violations. All the new Management did was come in, inspect the mold (which they told me to use bleach to get rid of), and say that they couldn't repair the roofing until it stopped raining. It still leaks down the walls.

Basically, you can either get lucky with this place and have a relatively ok apartment, or you can get screwed like I did and constantly file service request after service request. I've filled over 15 in the past year that I've lived here.

You're better off going somewhere else.

I feel you! With a passion, I HATE LIVING THERE! I can not believe how many maintenence requests my roomate and I have made and they always go unnoticed! I can't wait to move the hell out!
