This complex really sux!!!!!!!!!! I have lived all over the nation and recently re-located to Austin with my child. We needed to move-in fast and at a reasonable cost and Sterling Springs fit the protocol--but boy am I regretting the decision to move here'! I have had nothing but issues since the 1st day we got here--fleas, no a-c, and let me tell you, when it rains outside--it literally pours inside (of the unit).....thus resulting in mold and mildew growth. I must say that the office staff was receptive to my concerns in the beginning, but now that I have had to lodge several complaints and maintenance requests--the manager in particular seems annoyed with me. The complex is an older complex and some issues are to be expected, but I absolutely cannot wait until my lease is up so that we can get the hell out of here! The buildings have shifted a great deal and so there are cracks in the walls.......the appliances are outdated......and I won't even talk about the plumbing issues that we have had. In short--if you can avoid it--DO NOT move into Sterling Springs Apartments!!!!!!!!!! You too will regret it!

TOTALLY AGREE! And yes, the manager, Norma Pena, is absolutely rude, unprofessional and straight up doesn't give a damn! Our apartment is infested with rats and when we asked her if she would live in this type of conditions, she says NO! What a hypocrite! She won't live like that but expects my roomate and I to deal with it and won't let us out of our lease. Thank god the health inspector is coming out tomorrow!
