If you reead all these reviews you'll notice many people complaining about having to replace the carpet in their StoneGate apartment. I had to do this as well. My carpet was in good condition when I left...a carpet cleaning was all that was needed. Normal wear and tear for any apartment that has had a person living in it for more than a year. However, a few months later...I recieved a bill to replace all the carpet too. Funny how that works...so many people facing the same problem. We also requested many times a walk through will the apartment magaer who never could provide us with one. Why are they having the residents pay for carpet replacements when they are not needed' Sounds fishy to me.

EVERYONE SHOULD DO A WALK THRU BEFORE LEAVING REGARDLESS. TAKE PICTURES AND DOCUMENT EVERYTHING MOVING IN AND OUT. COVER YOUR _SS (C.YA)! FOLLOW UP ON THIS CARPET CRAP AND EVEN GO BY YOUR OLD APT TO SEE IF THEY REPLACED IT. SOUNDS LIKE EVERYBODY HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM, AUSTIN OR HOUSTON. THAT'S CRAP THOUGH, I RECEIVED ALL OF MY DEPOSITS BACK AFTER MOVING OUT OF EVERY ONE I HAVE RENTED, BUT TO KEEP YOUR MONEY WHEN ITS NOT NECESSARY IS WRONG. GETTING THE PLACE TOGETHER FOR YOUR NEXT TENANT COMES OUT OF YOUR POCKET IF YOU WANT TO LEASE THE THING, UNLESS I JUST TEAR SH_T UP. THEN I UNDERSTAND, OTHERWISE THIS IS BULL!
