The pet deposit is $600.00 (even for a small cat) and you have to provide proof of renter's insurance which is crazy because they want proof of liability for the building(not what protects your stuff if you have a fire, etc) which is normally the apartment's responsibility, while you normally have a choice if you want your belongings protected!--That only adds to the high costs of living here...

It's not liability on the building... do your research... the building is insured by the company! Part of the renter's insurance covers if someone gets hurt INSIDE your apartment then guess what?? They will be covered for medical and YOU won't be responsible! The other portion of Renter's Ins. is to cover your personal belongings because the apartment management does not cover that. Come on... Renter's Insurance is like $10 a month, don't you think it's worth it to cover your belongings and guests?! Stupid complaint! I have lived at Stonegate in the past for a few years... it's a great place!
