Many of the residents invite friends over (not meaning 1, but 3 or 4 friends) and this leads to neighbors I've seen who have 4 or 5 people going out to their cars to leave who seem to live there. The parking spaces are too small, and there are more covered and garages than uncovered spaces. Overall, the complex started out with 168 units it appears, and I guess 18 units were added so there are 186 units, yet I don't think the owning companies ever added more parking spaces. It looks like the complex might have 18 more apartments than spaces (assuming one parking space per resident, and basing the parking space total on covered, uncovered, and garages combined).
If a resident comes home from work at 6pm they can often find
lots of spaces, but if you come home at 8pm, or leave anytime
that night and try to come home later at 10pm- you will pretty
much almost never find an uncovered parking space- and might have
to park in a nearby street outside the complex and walk.
I haven't had the problem with getting information a previous
resident did, but I went online to google and did find the information.
Information online seems to indicate the whole complex is
trying to be sold by its owners, or is in the process of being
sold. The people who seem to still own it are a company in Dallas
though theres 2 names listed. Here is that info:
Seneca Investments
2525 McKinnon St., Suite 330
Dallas, TX 75201

214-265-0762 (fax)
or
APARTMENTS LTD

The webpage indicating it might be being sold is:

There is also a report put online by the city of Austin
that seems to indicate one of the previous parent companies might
of been delinquent about taxes back in March 2006. That
online link to the report is:

First of all, the property sold July, 2006. What this person is evidently referring to is a Keller Williams ad, selling individual condominiums. Stoneleigh has been condominiums for approximately a year now. If you are interested in purchasing a condominium, call Keller Williams, they will be happy to help you. The property was built to have 186 units. There were never only 168. There are more than 1 parking spaces per unit in addition to the 58 garages and 108 carports. I often work until after 8 pm and have yet to find every parking space taken. They may not be in front of your door, but they are there. The address and telephone this person gave, may be for a previous owner, but is not the current. I do not know what a previous owners tax status would have to do with anything, but taxes are required to be current prior to sale.
If you have questions, come to the Stoneleigh office, or call. Barbie is the manager. Her number is 512 834-9800. She can answer your questions about condo living, renting a condo, carport or garage, etc.
