Stoneridge Apartments

Good location and price From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 11/5/2006 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006   The location is great, close to downtown and lots of stores. Also has the #3 and #338 bus stop out front. However, the maintenance staff can half-ass repairs sometimes. Like repairing a leaky ceiling by cutting a hole in it and putting a particle board behind the drywall and then using gobs of joint compound smeared over it (which then mostly fell off within a couple of weeks as it dried and shrunk.. d'uh) instead of just using a couple square feet of real drywall like they should have. The office should fire the morons, they give the place a bad name. The office staff, at least Rachelle, was responsive to requests. Whenever a repair was needed it was done quickly, albeit sometimes (see above) half-assed. Being a very affordable complex you sometimes have morons and loud people up all hours parting in the courtyards of the buildings. But not all of the buildings are this way. Parking is not a problem, as half of the residents ride the bus and don't drive it seems. I would recommend it if you need an affordable place in a good location.
