The grounds are beautiful and the pool is nice. There's not much else in amenities. Despite the age, the apartments themselves are in good shape. There could be more light in the parking areas and the breezeway lights seem to burn out frequently, but I don't feel unsafe (and they say they are replacing the outdoor light fixtures soon). The only annoying noise I hear is my upstairs neighbor, who seems to be constantly stomping. No other neighbors are loud and everyone seems friendly and respectful. I think the office staff is considerate and easy to talk to, but it seems like you have to nag at the office to get maintenance issues taken care of. I have had a couple of problems involving water (which were not the fault of management or residents), and it's taken several trips and phone calls to get an active response. In the worst case it involved a major leak with mold growth and took almost two weeks to get the problem resolved. I think the issue here is that one head of maintenance and one assistant is not enough staffing to handle the maintenance and move-in needs of a complex this size.
