not so great

Su Casa is definitely an inexpensive place to live, and I guess it's better than living some places, but there are a lot of cons.
the management is horrible.
they not only take an inordinate amount of time to respond to maintenance requests or questions, they're extremely rude about it.
I would not live at another complex managed by Rainier again.
the complex is a cave, and therefore, you hear everything.
you could be whispering in the halls, and somebody is going to hear you.
horrible when you have an exam the next day and people across the complex are having a party.
it's pretty old, which doesn't bother me too much, because it's relatively cheap, but it's definitely not cheap enough for what you get.
almost every machine in the laundry room is always broken.
the utilities are astronomical.
they told us they paid for heat, but in december, we had a 250$ electricity bill.
called back 3 or 4 times to talk to them, and after talking to several people, they actually don't pay for that.
if you do choose to live here, when you talk to management, triple and quadruple confirm things and get names.
the one really excellent thing about this apartment complex is its location.
it's less than a minute to the bus stop, which is both IF shuttle route and the 5.
I love the location and will be sad to leave it next year, but thrilled to leave su casa.
