Keep Looking From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/15/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   When I first moved in I guess I expected way too much from this place. When I first finished applying I was told what apt would be mine in the following week when I moved down. The 1st day of my lease I was told my apt had been rented to someone else and I would have to wait 3 days for another and this was after I already had all the utilities and mail address changed. So after spending 3 days at a hotel (which they didn't even offer to pay). I moved into my "new" apt. The carpet was still wet from cleaning and the paint had not dried. The painter actually closed my bathroom door while the paint was drying and the paint dried meaning I had to force my way into it. They actually painted the sink and the TOILET SEAT!!!! NO explanation as to why I had to change rooms or offer to cover the utilities, since I was paying electricity and water at the entire time I was in the hotel. Granted it's maybe a few dollars but just an offer would have meant a lot. I cannot wait until my lease is up and leave this dump behind. Here is a brief list of some of the other problems I've encountered during my stay. 1) "Security gates" have not worked in over 8 months!!!!! not once. I wasn't even told what the gate code was when I moved in and still do not know it to this day. It's always fun to have a homeless guy sleeping right outside your building. 2) Hot tub also has not worked in over 8 months!!!! I just checked recently 3) I have had a leak in the ceiling and have put in 2 work orders ( 1 in person, 1 on the website) and have told the maintenance guy twice and it still has not been fixed in over 3 months. 4) There is no one enforcing pool rules so expect to we awake at 2 am listening to idiots yelling 5) None of the weight equipment has worked in the 8 months I have been here. 6) Vandals have broken several washers and dryers. 7) There is no security guard!!! Believe me I've looked and this was after fliers were left at our doors stating there was. 8) Parking spaces have compact cars in mind so if you drive anything bigger expect to have dings and scratches on your vehicle doors. Unless you are in a tough spot DO NOT even consider living here. It may look nice driving by but believe me spend a few extra dollars and find something better.
