First off, let me say that the management does try to keep the grounds safe and clean. However, there are several issues that are now so concerning that I will not renew my lease this month.

-I know for a fact that the maintenance man who currently works here was convicted on two seperate counts of child molestation. I looked him up on a web site where he is listed. He is allowed to work here because his mother is the grounds keeper. I think it's really irresponsible for the management to not at least notify tenants of this-- I learned through hearsay and had to look it up myself.

-It takes a great deal of time to have any work orders processed. I had to argue with them whether or not my front door was broken before they finally sent maintenance (yes, the convicted felon) to stick some foam and tape to the door frame to "repair" my door.

-The are overly strict. I moved here because I thought their stern policies would keep me safe, being a single woman and all; however, registering every vehicle of every visitor, not allowing any animal to be in your house unless you've paid for it (for instance, don't take your dog over to a neighbor's house or you're neighbor can be fined), posting threatening signs on your regarding "the rules," not letting people swim in the pool past 10 o'clock... it's really ridiculous.

-Lastly, the security guards that are supposed to circle the grounds all hours of the night nowhere to be found when 1. I had a woman who was obviously under the influence trying to get into my house and 2. when I accidently locked myself out late one night, I could find no one for over 45 minutes to help me so I had to wake a neighbor to let me use her phone. Also, the guards are constantly being replaced. I don't know how safe we are if every guard they hire is inadequate.

Wake up that maintenance guy hasn't worked here for some time now. Also your complaints are pretty ridiculous. All you have to do is read the lease before you sign it.

Actually Sabrina, her complaints are reasonable and of the exact same nature that other tenants have. You only take offense because you are the manager here and responsible for the problems because you created them. Ever heard of running a criminal background check on potential employees? Maybe this would be a good investment for the extra money you are eking out of your tenants with the RIDICULOUS rent raises. Criminal background checks are handy when it comes to weeding out pesky sex offenders and other criminals.......;)
