Yo!

I can't believe I put my family through 7 months at this place :(

Our family need a place to stay while we were having a home built. This is one of two complexes that would take our large breed dog. I have lived in this complex two other times. Bldg 20, Bldg 5 and Bldg 2. I have to agree with the majority this place is going down hill in a hurry.

#1 I have two very small children and when I noticed that it took so long to get hot water I called and spoke to the management about it. I was told there was nothing to do about it and to let the water run until it got hot. This could take anywhere from 5-10 minutes. I would deal with it if it was just me but not having hot water is not sanitary for my kids.

#2 We are close to the pool. I know I can not complain about the noise because when we moved in I was warned about the noise of the pool. Especially during the summer months. BUT, I was not told that it is a community pool. I think the entire east side of 35 from Stassney to William Cannon comes to swim in our pool. Even if I wanted to take my kids swimming I would not choose this pool. The hot tub has been green since we moved in 7 months ago. The pool seating is so old and torn up. I think at least the complex would want a better image for them selves. There are broken chairs that have been in the pool area for 2 months now. If it is trash then discard of it already. My husband was told this past week to keep the walk through gates closed to cut down on traffic through. HELLO all the entrances are broke and all you have to do is pull the walk through gates hard enough to open them.

#3 When I moved in I would have thought I was moving the day after someone moved out. The amount of dirt and stains on the carpet was ungodly. The day I moved in the carpet was not even attached to the walls in most corners. I had to have a carpet repair man come in and fix it before I could move my furniture in. The management then asked me if I wanted the carpet replaced before I moved in that is how bad the stains were. I told him to put in writing that I would accept the carpet the way it was because I have 2 dogs and 2 small kids and I would not be responsible for the carpet condition when we moved out. I am thankful for that.

#4 I took pictures of how bad the dirt was in the laundry area and how clogged the vent hood was when I moved in. NOT only is this a health issue but a safety issue as well. Then I checked the outside vent locations and they are all clogged as well. My dryer would stay running all day if I let it. There is no way I would turn it on a leave my apartment. I pulled the washer and dryer out of the little closet they are housed in and my gosh at the caked on dryer lint on the back of the wall and the back of the units. It was so nasty. I was embarrassed for them for letting me move in like that.

#5 IF you do have animals and YOU are responsible like us just be aware of the not so responsible pet owners. They will allow their dogs off leash to do their business and not even think twice of others. As far as the picking up of the poo. BE RESPONSIBLE!! But I do think that the apartment complex needs to have a little more pride in their facilities and at least keep it maintained to a certain extent.

#6 The extras at this apartment complex are not even worth it. There is one treadmill that works. The TV has no remote and is so high up you can't change the channel. I went one day last month to use the computers in the office that are supposed to be available for tenants. When I got there I was told that one was broken and the other was being used as an office for the newly promoted district manager of the complex. So I asked the leasing agent what I could use and she said nothing. WOW way to take care of your tenants huh.

#7 Please don t get me started on parking. Someone mentioned in another post that if you weren t lazy and took the time to park in the gates then your car would not get broken into . WELL HELLO all the gates are broke anyway and even if we tried to be home in time to get a spot in the lot it is still already full of cars. Our lot has no choice but to be shared between 3 buildings so we have no other option but to park on the street or in front of the office. And the spaces are not normal sized spaces. So do expect to have door dings.

I am speaking from experience with this complex having lived here in 3 separate buildings totaling 4 years that this past 7 months has been pure hell. I would NOT recommend this complex to even my worst enemy because for the money they charge and the condition of this place it is just truly NOT WORTH IT.

Please read all the reviews, you will see that you are better off going elsewhere. BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
