Parking is ample during the day but not good at night. Tenants with guests are not respectful about parking on the outer parameter of buildings so other tenants can park near their apartments.
A lot of items (trash dumpsters, bushes, etc., etc...) obstructing the view around corners of the driveways. A lot of children playing in the driving areas instead of on lawn areas.
Apartments on the inside are cheaply built. Appearance on outside is decent.
Insulation of walls and ceilings are not adequate. Tenants disrespectful about noise levels in surrounding apartments (slamming doors, cabinets, walking too heavy across upper floor apartments).
Grounds of the apartment community are well maintained. Lawns are kept up once a week. Pool accessories are often broken (BBQ grills & pits, hot tubs).
Very friendly maintenance crew. Timely. Things are often fixed right the first time but if replaced with cheap product, often breaks again.
Office staff has been getting better over the 3 years I have been here. They have been maintaining adequate staffing (leasing agents, management and maintenance crews).
Management has been willing to compete with other surrounding apartment communities on rental amounts in to keep good tenants (paying their rent on time, no complaints, etc., etc...) when lease is expiring.
Rental amounts at Sycamore Springs are higher than most of the newer apartment communities in the surrounding area.
