maintenance team needs some work

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008
work orders take way too long to be completed, maintenance staff arrives to attend to issues with crappy attitudes, and don't do a thorough job (i.e., not removing old grout and caulk that is infested with mites before caulking over it, throwing glue traps from pest problem onto patio so dog walks out and gets his foot stuck in one, not repairing water-damaged linoleum that is curling up against tub and just recaulking it higher up onto tub).
The property got a new paint job this year, and magically rents jumped up twice as much this year as it did in years past... just coincidence, I'm sure.
I can't complain too much about the office staff. Most of the girls are very friendly. Maybe they aren't the most straight-laced, professional group, but they are very approachable and fun to chat with.
And yes, parking does suck, thanks to the tiny spaces in a truck and suv laden world. Those of us with compact cars can't fit into the compact spaces because the people who drive big cars park in 1.5 spaces, then won't park right next to each other, so they have to skip a space and take up another 1.5 spaces... so if you get home too late, you have to park in BFE and hoof it.
