Talavera Apartment Homes

 

My family and I moved in here 3 years ago and we've loved it here.

The apartment we have is huge and our closets are fantastic.

We have an attached garage which is really nice - plenty of room for 1 car and we still have tons of room for storage.

The way the units are set up, you don't really share many walls with your neighbors, so you don't get much neighbor noise.

We do hear our upstairs neighbors walk around, but I guess you get that in any apartment.

The management here couldn't be better.

Greg is extremely friendly and lives on site.

The ladies who work in the office are always very nice and helpful when you have a question or need to pick up a package.

The Maintenance guys are the best - fast, courteous, and professional.

I've only had to have a few things repaired (mostly when we first moved in because my apartment had been vacant for a while) When I called the office to report it Carlos and Leo showed up at my door within about 5 minutes.

I've lived other places where I was lucky if they showed up by the end of the week.

These guys are great.

The grounds are nice, there is a doggie poop problem, so my kiddo can't play in the grass like we would like.

But, again that's a problem anywhere you go.

We've never had a bug problem except for the occasional silverfish in the garage.

Neighbors are friendly enough and everyone seems to have a good time at the pool during the summer.

This is a family place, so it's pretty quiet and people don't throw all night keggers or anything.

My only problem with the location is the construction project that's been going on next door for the last year (which has nothing to do with Talavera) Some company is building townhomes just outside the property line and that's been hard to deal with.

But, when I spoke to Greg about some issues going on with it, he actually spoke to the builder about it for us and got the issues resolved.

Wow!

Overall, this has been a really nice and convenient place to live.

Easy access to Lakeline Mall, Wal-mart, Target, Alamo Drafthouse, HEB, 183.

I definately recommend it for people who have kids or are looking for a well-priced quiet place to call home.
