I have had four different licensed electricians tell me that the plugs falling out of the outlets are an immediate fire hazard. One offered to call the building inspector to have him condemn the property; when I approached the management before taking this option, Sue's response was, "Go ahead. Call him." When I called again to request replacement of the outlets and offered to pay for new ones, I was told that if the maintenance man felt they needed to be replaced, he would replace them and there would be no more discussion with me about the problem. He replaced approximately half the outlets in the apartment and the new ones now arc if I try to plug something in them. I was told by the management that this is a common problem around the property.

My patio gate has been broken for over a year and repeated requests to fix it have been ignored. The splash guard on my disposal is so corroded that I have to wear safety glasses in the kitchen if the dishwasher is running because things fly out of it. I overhear the maintenance men talking about how they were supposed to fix something and they just make it look like it is fixed. In addition, the property is inappropriately landscaped and the lights on their signs have been out for over two years (they told me the sprinkler system short-circuits the lights, another sign that the property needs to be rewired). I come home late at night from work and I'm always terrified I'm going to run over someone because the property is so dark at the driveways.
