Upon moving into the complex I heard lots of forewarnings. Lousy maintenance... car break-ins... dirty facilites...high drug activity... the list goes on and on.

I first moved into a small one bedroom. It had new carpet in it. There were NO major defects in the apartment itself. Every thing that has come up, I simply reported the problem, and voila! it was fixed. Anything I needed, the staff was eager to accomodate.

As far as car break-in's go, I think this really goes standard for where ever you may be. DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLE STUFF OUT IN THE OPEN. I wouldn't leave my purse on the front seat at Wal-Mart... why leave it out in an apartment complex. Need I say more...

Drugs... those are everywhere. I know that a couple of my neighbors are involved. But I respect them in the fact that I never was suspcious nor annoyed nor shocked about their habits. I have been here for 7 months and have YET to see anyone publically using or selling drugs in this complex.

Yes. The pool was dirty once. Once out of the 48 times I had been to the pool over the summer. Big deal. What do you expect when you go to a public pool' The staff was immediately reponsive to my inquiry about cleaning the pool.

Unfortunately, I have found that if and when anything went amiss, I had to report it. I went into this knowing that I would have to- considering the management doesn't go into my apartment on a daily basis.

The management is also working on reinnovating the exterior of the complex. I was told that they decided to hold off on the work-out facility to do the face-lift first. I love the idea. I think the realized that they definately need to do some work on the exterior- and simply prioritized. They continue to plan a work-out facility in the future.

Let's wake up here and realize that honestly, you do get what you pay for. These apartments are cheap and you really just get the basics- however, I feel that anything I was not satisfied with has been fixed and I have been happy with it since. I haven't run into any major problems and have really enjoyed the comfort and surroundings in the complex and in the area. It also seems that a lot of my neighbors enjoy living here as well. This complex also provides a lot of freedom, and I feel like the tenants are respectful of that. I would reccommend this apartment complex to anyone! Thus, I have renewed my lease for 1 year and moved into a bigger apt.
