I personally did not enjoy living at this apartment complex. There is a lot of odd and end trash left by the dumpsters perhaps by people who drive over to get rid of their trash. This looks bad. The apartments themselves have had a few renovations but could use more. No one picks up after their dogs so the grounds is littered with dog poo. The price for Austin market is probably reasonable. Maintenence does respond quickly to any work requests. I had a leaky ceiling and although it was looked at right away, it has not been fixed after outside roof repair has come twice. There are no real amenities here although probably reflected in the lower rent for S. Austin. The pool is nice and maintained clean. Parking is open other then some $20 per month spots that are designated by yellow painted numbers. No covered parking. My neighbor upstairs was rather noisy. Could hear everything! At times I felt like I was watching TV up there myself. I am relocating out of Austin but if I had stayed I would have most likely paid a bit more in rent to get something I deemed nicer personally.
