This is one of the best places I have lived though out college. I wouldn't recommend it for non-students though, b/c it's a student enviroment. It's very quiet and conveniently located. You always have a place to sit on the shuttle and Hancock center is about 2 minutes away. The buildings are a little older, but the rent was a good price for the location. Maintenance is a little slow but not nearly as bad as all the other places I lived. Parking is tight and you really can't have too many guests over or they'll have to park blocks away. There have been two car break ins in the last year, but that honestly could happen anywhere and has happened to me when I owned a 92 corrolla and lived by the arboretum. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to rent in the hyde park area.
