I have only lived here for a few months but I really like it. It's very quiet, and there are lots of trees - it doesn't feel like a concrete wonderland like a lot of other complexes in Austin. The amenities - pool and workout room - are small, but well-appointed. The management has always been very friendly and helpful towards me, but then, I always pay my rent on time and am not always in their office bitching about something. My apartment is huge and actually pretty well-priced compared to some of the other places I looked at - as far as it being overpriced, yes, if you rented a 2-bedroom for over a grand a month, you would probably be better off renting a house. The drawbacks I have found are mostly related to location. I work downtown, so my gasoline bill has increased by around 30% (I'll definitely be buying a hybrid for my next car), plus, the complex is a little far if you go out a lot downtown, etc. There's also a lot of traffic to contend with, both on CapTx/360 and Mopac. The other thing is that there isn't really a little corner store nearby for milk and stuff - there's a Randalls not too far, but you'll have to drive, and the stoplight at the end of Bluffstone Dr. takes FOREVER so the trip will sometimes take you up to 20 minutes. Other than that, I really enjoy living here and would definitely renew my lease if I weren't being transferred out-of-state next year.
