Change is good From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/30/2006 Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2006 2 responses   I've lived here for 7 years and I loved the Gables. Just like everyone else, I was worried about the change in management and just like all change, it was bumpy at first. Then I found out the "new" manager was the same Gables manager that was here for years when I first moved in. She is just as nice as I remember her as is the rest of the office staff and the maintenance staff is 100 times better! They have more resident activities like pool parties and happy hours, the complex is looking cleaner and I just found out that the fitness center and gym are being upgraded and there are plans for a bbq area all based on our responses on a survey they sent out when they first got here. I know these things take time but I'm just glad to hear the new management is actually listening to us. Things are definitely improving.
