The apartments are pretty good size and priced very well. But the place is run-down and the appliances are ancient. The entire complex needs and overhaul.
The staff are actually very friendly, but the maintenace times for non-critical items can be very slow. I reported a bad noise in my ceiling fan for 2 years and it never got replaced. Then one day a blade broke off the fan and slammed into the wall leaving a nice gash, i'm glad it wasn't someone's head. It still took almost a week before i got a new ceiling fan after that.
The prices are great, the neighborhood isn't too bad and seems to be getting better with the addition of the toll road. Pleanty of places to eat and getting into town (be it Pville, RR, or Austin) is actually really easy. I do love the loft layout, but my circa 1980 appliances just don't cut it anymore and need to be replaced. The woodworks on stariwells and decks is rotted and torn up, i can only think that one good overhaul may really make the entire complex seem fresh and new since the layout is well done. Just the effort doesn't ever seem to be taking place.
