We have lived here for 2 years and will be moving when our lease is up. The main problem we have had while living here is that it is so far from everything--we moved in from out of state, so we didn't really know what austin traffic was going to be like. Overall we've had very few problems with the apartment, the office staff has been nice and the maintenance has been pretty good. We have the loft floor plan, so the electric bills are really high. Our first summer they were as high as $200 , but our AC was replaced last year and they've been closer to $140 this summer and $80-$100 in the winter. The appliances are older, but they work. We have been happy because the pictures and advertisements we saw before moving are all quite accurate. It's pretty scary to move into a place you've never seen in person, so we were quite relieved. The rent is also really cheap compared with most other places in austin, so if you work up north this place is perfect. I'm not thrilled with the new trash collection (up to $20/month from $5) but luckily we're moving so we won't have to pay it. Still, I've lived in way worse places and for the money this apartment is pretty nice.
