I know crime is everywhere but come on

I moved into this complex in March and since that time the complex mailboxes have been broken into, a car right outside our building had all 4 wheels taken off and left on rocks, and last night 4 cars were broken into and those are just the ones I saw because they were right outside my building. Obviously the gates don't keep this complex any safer and the parking is ridiculous if you plan to come home after midnight plan to walk from the office. The apartments themselves are very nice and the maintaince/grounds guys are always very nice but to pay more money to live here when crime is obviously a very BIG problem it's not worth it in the long run.
