CONS:

Built to condo specs, but single pane windows let sound in from the parking area in the bedroom (cars, neighbours, etc). A/C units with loud humming outside window.
Your upstairs neighbours using the staircase attached to your bedroom wall....i.e. loud banging sound. This may vary from apt to apt as does the fact that I can hear my upstairs neighbour walk around and it sounds like she weighs 400 punds (which she doesn't). Basically, the walls and ceilings noise dampening vary greatly from unit to unit.
Garbage trucks frequently coming by at odd hours...anywhere between 2-6 am, so expect to be woken up from time to time.
If you get a first floor apt, be prepared for roaches in the summer.

My point being...get a second floor unit if you stay here to avoid many of these problems.

One more thing...the computers/printers for residents use have been down for over a month now, with the IT dept having little interest in coming down to fix it, this despite many pleas from management here, so don't count on great service from the corporate side.
It's pricey for what you get, so shop around first.

PROS:

Good landscaping, the management here is friendly and the staff are helpful. I've had all my problems fixed on time so no complaints there.
Walking distance to Walgreens and Randalls. Safe neighbourhood and close to shopping highways.
(I guess that's why rent is higher)

CONCLUSION:

I've been here close to a year and before this I used to live in an apt. across from a subway station, so I'm no stranger to noise or living in close proximity to other people. I will be looking for another place once the lease is over....there are better residences for less money (and double paned windows)
