Living at The Palms Apts.

My wife and I have been living at The Palms for a year and a half and have only been through one management change, but we have really enjoyed living here. The current management and maintenance staff have been very proactive in making improvements and in taking care of the residents' needs.
The noise from UPS trucks (heading to the nearby UPS main hub) is unavoidable really. Perhaps the only complaint/concern right now would be the fact that sometimes late at night there are other loud vehicles (with the exception of UPS trucks) trying to race down the street. There have been several motorcycles as well making too much noise late in the night. The security issue needs to be addressed by the new management because there used to be a security patrol on the premises and now, according to the management, there are insufficient funds to afford security. Also lighting on the premises could be improved (especially where my wife and I live, close to the street) . . . after someone tried to break into my car twice (but was/were unsuccessful because of my car alarm going off and fellow residents being alerted to this). And . . . yes, according to some rumors going around the complex, the parking issue is being looked at (to create more parking spots but I seriously doubt that will happen).
Other than the issues mentioned above, my wife and I have been content with our overall living condition at The Palms. The main post office hub is right across the street as is a Shell gas station and other businesses making it very convenient for many who work nearby and The Palms offer new residents a special discount if they work nearby upon their initial move-in. Also, attempts to break into my vehicle have not occurred again which makes me feel somewhat better (not completely satisfied) about the security issue. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
