I have lived here for 3 years with husband and daughter. Daughter got sick took her to the hospital to come to find out that she had pneumonia. Reason why she got pneumoina is because we had mold growing in our apartment the cause of a leak that had been going on for i don't know how long. Husband called managment to come and take a look and fix the problem. They said they would fix the carpet, kill the mold, and repaint the walls. Well know two weeks have gone by and me and my husband live with his parents because they only fixed the carpet and not the mold wich is the ------- problem.My husband calls everyday to let them know that nothing has been done but they don't give a ---- my daughter can be dieing because of the mold. I don't know what to do can't live with my in-laws forever. I don't know what to do how do i know if they killed the ----in mold if they tell me they did. I went yesterday and the mold is spreading more and more. Can someone give me suggestions. They don't give a ----! i need help!!!!!!! Lease is up in a month but what do i do in the mean time we don't have any where to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please, please call the Austin Tenant's Council @ (512)474-1961. They can possibly help or can even identify if you have a legal case.

Please call the Texas Department of Health. My company does mold remediation and that is simply not tolerated. Definitely file suit against the complex. Good Luck!
