I hate this place for many reasons and can't wait to move out next month..here's a list of what i have experienced here..

First let me explain that I read these terrible reviews prior to my move in and still chose this place! Why' Well, I used these reviews to get a great deal, I brought my apartment down from $1000 to $800, this is the 2 bedroom, attached car garage. Still not worth it....but if you don't care about your cars, your home, and the quality of living...then go for this place, just negotiate the rent!

Why you should not move here...

1. When I moved in, there was ink and cigarette stains on my carpet, skids marks on the toilet, pet hair, grease stains on the wall, broken blinds, and god knows what in my dishwasher. What upset us, was before we moved in, the guy rushed to the apartment to put our "Welcome" gift in, so therefore he saw that our apartment was not cleaned prior to our move in.

2. I witnessed a car break in, I called the apartment office, the lady laughed saying "Wow, what balls they have to break in during the day!"

3. A cop told us that this apartment complex has one of the highest crime rates in Austin

4. Last night I heard a gun shot, called the cops..not sure yet what that was about.

5. There are bugs, salamanders all over this place and they won't do anything about it.

6. Something breaks in your apartment, you might as well fix it yourself b/c they won't. They have a really nice maitenance guy, but they are so understaffed that it takes forever for them to come in and help.

Yes, totally agree, my lease is up sept. but i'm out in 2 weeks, go check out parkside condos off of howard lane and harris ridge blvd. thats where i'm going and i got a great deal for a 3b/2bth/2cg...as much as they charge here u might as well go there, it's reasonable price, and there is more privacy in a new construction

I beleive it, I lived there alittle over a year ago when it was Amli then the transition to the Park at Walnut creek. My fiance's car got broken into and nothing was done about. Some drunk person threw up on the steps to the 2nd floor and even though I complained to the office nobody cleaned it up. I also understand about the bugs, I had to buy my own pesticide and spray because spiders where covering my balcony. The complex mgmt is awful and I'm so happy we moved while it was still just getting bad.

I lived there for 2.5 years. Two years of that it was AMLI and I NEVER had a problem, EVER. The second the new management company took over I started having trouble, one being that my new 3/2.5/1 that I was transfering too and paying $1200 a month for was not cleaned, painted, carpet cleaned NOTHING--it was horrible. They had my truck towed from my PAID PARKING SPOT that I had had since the moment I moved in as AMLI because the inspection sticker was out (obviously since the truck was broken down), but with no prior warning or anything. It was an old truck and paid for but I lost it because i couldnt pay to have get it out of impound. The company just laughed at me and said they had every right and it was in the lease. I moved right down the street to Branch Creek Estates (a small manufactured home community) and LOVE it here. I BOUGHT my house with the same credentials that I need to rent/lease at any apartment complex. I'm soooooooo glad I moved.
