When I first moved into the Park I requestd that a washer and dryer be put in my unit. At the signing of my lease I was told that that would not be a problem. When I moved in I never got one and everytime I called to ask about it I was asked my name and number and they promised to call back. When someone finally called me after two weeks of my constant calling they promised that the washer/dryer would be delivered on Wednesday. I called on that day and was told that there were no available units. How then was I promised a Wednesday delivery'

I have experienced water that runs brown on several occasions, trash problems, parking is a nightmare if you come home after 9pm, water that has run brown more than once, it takes forever for maintence to fix a light that goes off in the little hallways leading up to the door, hornets nests do not get treated, and the office rarely answers the phone and when they do the person who picks up never knows how to help. I am always promised a call back yet I never recieve one, it took me 3 calls to find when my lease is up! And because of that I missed my 60 day notice to move out. I turned in my 60 day notice to move out a month ago and no one can confirm that I even turned it in, which makes my month to month rent go up by 50%!!!

Basically, it seems like a nice place to live at first, but its a facade...customer service stops the minute you move in.

Ouch...sorry to hear about your pain. For self-protection, always do the following: 1) Read and understand the lease agreement in its entirety before signing. 2) Keep a signed/executed copy of the lease agreement in a safe, easy to locate place. 3) Mark important lease dates (deadline for notice to cancel, expiration, etc.) on your calendar.

I lived there for 2.5 years. I initially moved in when it was AMLI--and it was heaven living there. The DAY MBS took over it went downhill IMMEDIATELY. I moved out as soon as I could. I now own a nice home right down the street and am glad I was shown a different route in life.
