I thought I had it bad when I moved in 3 months ago and week after week, bugs were crawling around my place, despite several notices to management to exterminate. There was no latch on the sliding door, the toilet constantly ran (was fixed 3 months later as a solution to the carpet problem below), and the walls were and still are cracking. But it got WORSE: The A/C recently leaked and flooded all of the carpet around it. The management fixed the unit, but REFUSED to extract the water from the drenched carpet, and instead gave me a small, but extremely loud fan (you could here it outside of my door). When I told them (after two days and nights of moving around the fan myself and not being able to sleep there), they had the balls to tell me that the carpet was actually dry and that I was merely perceiving that it was wet! The manager Rosie REFUSED to come and check the carpet, which actually should have been replaced years ago with all the stains it has on it. I am moving out of here in a week, and will never return. I will never recommend this place, and would advise anyone who wants a half-way decent place to sleep to look elsewhere. No matter what your problem, you can count on the management here to make excuses, cut you off when you are speaking, and be an all around b**** instead of making the effort to resolve the problem.

totally true i also had the same problem with the ac leaking and i lived on the bottom floor. it wasnt only mine it was the peoples' apartment above mine which was also leaking into my pantry and causeing mold and mildew. Infact they did the same exact thing and brought the loudest hampster wheel fan and told me to let it run day and night and move it to hit the soaked area. it did nothing but eat up my electricy. wind ridge does not have the money to fix their problems, so if you want a hellish problem fixed, you can count on management and rosie to give you the big kiss off.
