Where to begin' The office folks were friendly enough... but maintenance didn't seem to understand english well, and consequently... did shoddy repair work. They also walked into the apartment without knocking one morning (to fix our door) and I had just gotten out of the shower. Hello, those are my boobs. By the way, they didn't fix the door all the way. Water flooded through our a/c from the upstairs toilet one night, so we shut off the unit so as not to cause any fires or anything... and called maintenence. They said they'd be there in 20 minutes... and never showed up. When they did show up the next day... they flipped the a/c on, and then simply walked out. Thanks guys... I could have done that. We got infested with fleas from the upstairs neighbor (she kept her cat box on the porch... it stank) and they told us to put water and bleach in a shallow pan and put a light near it to get rid of them. We never had hot water, it was hell trying to take a shower or do the dishes. They shut off our water for three days to de-scale the pipes... and now all the pipes are springing leaks. Gigantic cockroaches run through regularly... and I think there's a squirrel or something in the wall... speaking of walls... mold was growing in our kitchen... and when we called them in, they just sprayed it with bleach. (If it's toxic mold... bleach doesn't kill it) Hope I don't die. Wanna live here'

Holy crap were you my roommate?!? Seriously, except for the "boobs" reference you are describing our experience. I was crept-up upon twice by maintenance - seriously, I don't want some dude with a monkeywrench walking up to me while I'm fixing my cereal in the morning. Bugs, raccoons, cat pee falling from upstairs balconey onto my gf's head... even mold on everything. Are you me?
