Some of the reviews I've read I have to agree about but I love it here soooo much and wouldn't consider moving anywhere else. The place is old but the location, office and price is well worth it. The apartments look like new on the inside and that's all that matters to me. I have had issues with maintence not responding very well, but compaired to living in a house it's better then nothing. And I HAVE to agree with the dog poop thing. When I first moved in Kristine in the office told me they were pet friendly so there's alot of dogs and because of that it's important to pick up after my dog. They have a pet area with bags but people still levae dog ---- all over! But I still love it here so much. All the people are so nice. I'm a single woman and feel so safe here walking around at night. I walk downtown from here (Even though it's just a $4 cab ride) and there's so many things to do. I was looking for an apartment for a friend of mine in Oklahoma and decided to look up here and was surprised at some of the things that were said. It's not bad at all. Ask anyone that lives here. They all love it as much as I do! I highly recommend living here if you're looking for a place downtown. You can't get any better then this.

Don't get me wrong: the office folks are terrific, as is the location...but it's unacceptable that the grounds are ALWAYS littered with dog feces and that poop bags are only provided once every four months or so. Another problem: the swimming pool, which has now been shut down by the Austin Health Department TWICE in the middle of the summer! Ridiculous.
