Don't Move HERE!!!

Issue 1:

No Air Conditioning from May 10 September 10 2006

Temperatures in the summer of 2006 were regularly in the 90 s as was my apartment was the same temperature as outside EVERYDAY of the during May 10 Sept 10 2006

I contacted the Jefferson Canyon apartment management every week requesting a certified air conditioning person come out and evaluate the situation.

Apartment maintenance men came out and found the apartment to be regularly over 90 degrees and then did nothing but make the statement, This apartment is just hot.

Finally I got a certified air conditioning engineer to come to my apartment and examine the situation and he found that the wires to the air conditioner where not connected but sitting loose unconnected to anything and could have caused a fire.

At this time I again notified Jefferson Canyon Apartment Management of the finding and had the apartment Manager come and witness, with the air conditioning engineer there, the dangerous situation.

I told her I wanted to get all the electrical system examined to which she promised she would and did not as the next day or two the Jefferson Canyon apartment complex was sold to the current Apartment owner.

I began requesting the current Jefferson Canyon Apartment Management to please come and examine the electrical system in 837 because I felt it was dangerous.

Within 30 days making at least two requests for the current Jefferson Canyon Apartment Management to check the wiring:
1) My 50 Plasma LG Television was damaged from spiking amperage
2) My Cybex treadmill was burned up by spiking amperage

I had services technicians for the LG TV and the Cybex Treadmill come out and verify that the electronic items had been damaged by spiking amperage in the apartment.

I documented this with Jefferson Canyon maintenance to come out and check my electrical wiring in apartment 837.

Over the next 6 months I requested both on the phone and in person, at least once a month, for the Jefferson Canyon Apartment Management to PLEASE send a certified electrician to evaluate the electrical wiring in my apartment.

No apartment personnel took the responsibility to make this happen and NO ONE ever came to look at the situation of my apartment and I went without a TV, Treadmill, and other electrical items for over 6 months.

The damages to my LG Television and to my Cybex Treadmill among other electrical items is directly related to the dangerous amperage within apartment 837 and I am formally notifying everyone now to check the electrical wiring in that apartment or if you have a fire and it is caused by the wiring in that apartment and you do nothing after my warning you and the ownership of Jefferson Canyon are directly responsible for any damage or deaths.

The fact that NO ONE, NOT ONE SINGLE TIME, did anyone ever answer my requests for support is proof that I was not properly supported and helped during the time I was at the Jefferson Canyon Apartments current tenure. No one was sent to inspect the wiring of my apartment and I requested this over 20 times.

When I moved out, with a 60 day notice, I was billed for the following:

Cleaning the Refrigerator $15
Cleaning the Oven $20
Cleaning the Stove $15
Cleaning the Kitchen Floor $20
Cleaning the Master Tub $20
Cleaning the Guest Tub $20
Cleaning the Bath Floor $20
Cleaning the Guest Floor $20

Trash in master batch tub (a scrubber and plunger) $15 This is required cleaning of the apartment and I will not pay $15 for someone to take this out to the trash because I forgot to take it with me. This is a good example of the mean spirited and lack of integrity the Jefferson Canyon Apartment treats their tenants with.

If you move in with rodents you will become a rodent and that is what these apartments are for.

Yes, JPI was awesome. The new management sucks and it has been a downhill spiral since they took over.
