First thing, when you try to move into these apartments, be ready to spend about 3 weeks to a month on the paper work alone. Thats how long it took to get our approval. It was not because of the property staff, but the people who work with all of the paper work. They're super slow!
As far as the property itself, you have to realize that they are income based so obviously your neighbors aren't going to be as well off as you claim you are. You're stupid if you think it's gunna be a ritzy place to live in. I love it though. The apartments are super clean on the inside. They are practically brand new. Its quiet. Its really affordable and alot of the apartments have great views of downtown. They definitely keep up with the landscaping. For an uncome based apartment, it is the best that I have ever seen. I have lived in much less and paid alot more here in Austin. Besides, mopac and I-35 are right there. It takes me 5 minutes to get almost anywhere. Its all about location right'
The staff has always been really helpfull. When we were having problems with our paper work, they were almost always ontop of everything. I would have to say that sometimes you may have to wait for a little bit of help because they have 2 people to help everybody. They are completely understaffed. The two women that work are very helpfull though. They are non-stop. The only things that I would have to complain about it the fact that the gym closes when the office does, so no late night work outs. Like I said, it takes forever to get the paperwork through. Oh yeah, and sometimes the dumpsters get to the point where they are overflowing with trash. Not too often though. Oh and they have recycling too. So take it as you want. You get what you pay for.

I have lived in Towne Vista since it first opened in 2003 and the staff has quite a bit over time. They use to have a more diverse staff working at Towne Vista and now it is all Latinos. And this past month November 2007 they supposedly got a new software system that did not work properly because I kept getting notices on my door stating I was behind on my rent. I finally got it cleared up, but either they are understaffed or someone failed to do their job and check to see if residents had actually paid their rent before putting notices on their doors. And be sure to keep your paperwork when you pay deposits including pet deposit because they have lost my paperwork before as well. And the gym being closed after business hours does suck for people who work during the day hours. The good thing about Towne Vista is the staff does try to keep the property some what clean and police do make routine drives through the complex.
