my mother signed a lease in this complex. yea yea yea, so i was a child when we lived there but i'm not stupid and my mother was BLUNTLY honest with me about our finances so i'd understand 4 future references. but anyway, when we lived there the first time it was SUPER quiet. no bad neighbors or anything. i mean of course it was in the heart of the hood so you get wht u pay 4, but it was pretty descent. after our lease was up we moved to colony park and anyone who is a TRUE AUSTINITE knows tht living in colony park can mean 2 of 3 things: a)ur cutting back on ur expenses a lil bit TOOOOOO much. b)ya a** is on section 8 and u really cnt do any better. or c)u just truly dnt know austin too well. after living there 4 a year or 2, we moved back 2 TS. at the time jamie (i believe her name was) welcomed us with open arms, no problems at all. the gates were broken on occasion. at the time it was starting 2 become a bit run down but they just slapped paint on it and tht was tht. we nvr really had any issues except for our neighbors. this dude beat his wife and they lived on the second floor...imagine tht. she got her a** beat from dusk til dawn. lol. the situation is totally not funny, but there was CONSTANT stomping and etc going on. my mother and i just minded our business, it was just me and her so why risk our safety' i mean...we did call anonymously though...other than tht everything was fine. pool was always kept up. dnt really remember seeing too much security. just empty security carts. pretty quiet...and safe enough for me 2 walk from the back of the apartments to the front in order 2 catch capital metro 2 wherever i was going at a young age, by myself. i mean hey, u get wht u pay 4 though. kinda miss living there. has anything changed'''
