small but decent

At Twelve Oaks you get a decent place for a decent price.
Here are some things about my apartment: new fridge and oven.
Clean, but cheap, carpet (some units have wood or wood-esque flooring in the living room).
Lots of kitchen storage but not much bathroom storage (have to keep linens in the kitchen!).
You'll definitely want to view the actual unit you will be renting, since each unit seems to have its quirks.
Example: my bathroom ceiling is the biggest drawback in the place--it's ugly, low and rusty and the condensation from the A/C drains through a HOLE in my bathroom ceiling and into my tub! Some of my friends think this is shady and I agree...
shouldn't that stuff drain outside' Anyway, the neighborhood is safe and there have been no car break-ins as far as I know.
I can hear occasional noise from upstairs but none from people directly next door.
Alori, the management, has pest control come every couple months so there have never been any problems in that regard.
Maintenance, the few times I had to call them, were prompt.
There are a lot of young people here, but a few families too, so it doesn't have that "college dorm" feel like some other apartments.
It's pretty quiet.
Overall I recommend Twelve Oaks and Alori management.
updated 7/11/05: I just found out that the A/C water draining into my tub is definitely against building codes, so if you move into this place and it's set up that way, get them to fix it.
