Only for college students! From: mitsubachi Date posted: 10/23/2003 Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2001   Sterling wasn't a bad apartment complex. It was often noisy. (We thought boys lived above us, nope just athletic girls ^_^ ). The walls are VERY thin. So pick roommates that don't have sex, or have significant others that have their own apartments. And the guy who lived on the other side of us liked loud techno music. grins Our neighbors were nice and the complex staff was friendly. Maintenance wasn't bad but not great. One of our windows was shattered and it took them a week to get it fixed. Our air-conditioning unit leaked and caused mold. And they took 3 weeks to get it dry and taken care of. For a first-time apartment this is a great choice. It was more important for me that the bus picked up there, than if they fixed things fast. Also, the are furnished so we didn't have to go buy first-timer furniture. Also the carpet is multi-colored which helps when people get drunk and spew.
