This apartment complex will have break ins just like all the others in riverside area. Just keep valuables out of sight. When the gate is broken it is due to stupid drivers running into it-can't be helped by the staff. The staff is a bit immature and unprofessional, but they are nice. It is loud, but so is every other college place. The maintenance returns calls better than any other place I have lived. Sterling is the cheapest, which for those with less money is great. The roommate thing i have found to be a little true-there are a couple of wierdos here. The first maintenance guy-allen was really sketchy, but they finally fired him, so the maintenance is not sketchy anymore and is all students except for the head maintenance. The head maintenance does have a girlfriend. He is not doing anything to other peoples apartments or messing around that i have heard problems of. The apartments are not the smallest but average for college apartments. I never had a problem with rent or money and never had a moving problem with them. Overall a good place to live-my favorite compared to jefferson commons and crossing place.
